  • • We’re cleaning and disinfecting all customer vehicles at touchpoints both before and after working on them. This includes door handles, steering wheel, key fobs, trunk lids and any other surface that we contact
  • • We’re regularly cleaning and disinfecting all common areas in our stores, high touch points, sales counters, product displays, and more multiple times a day.
  • • Practicing social distancing, we ask that no one wait for their vehicle inside our store at this time.  We’re asking everyone with an appointment to drop their vehicle off with us for the day We can assist in arranging a ride for you.
  • • We have a key drop box, and can take credit card payment over the phone, if you’d prefer to have no contact when dropping your vehicle off with us.
  • • We’ve cut down the number of appointments per day for the time being to limit the number of people in our stores at one time.
  • • We have implemented new protocols for illness in our workplace, and are not allowing any employee with even remote signs of illness or illness in their family to report to work in our stores.

The Specialists began in 1976 as a single store in Tucson, Arizona called Auto Stereo Specialists with three employees. Our emphasis even then was a passion for quality installation and top-notch products. AM radios, CB/Cassette combo units and Jensen Tri-Axials were all the rage. Fast forward to 1986 when the Specialists, Inc. was spun from the original company to become the premier destination for award-winning sound systems drawing customers form Texas, Southern California, and even deep into Mexico. A second store, then a third, and fourth were added as the company grew always adhering to the culture of quality products, flawless installation and relentless customer service.

Over the years, the Specialists have been honored by trade publications, manufacturers, civic organizations and charities. Awards like “Best of the Best”, “Retailer of the Year”, “High Performance Award”, “Award of Excellence” all dominate the trophy case at the Specialists Corporate offices Today the Specialists employ over seventy people with four stores and a centralized online fulfillment center.
